No kid likes needles right!? Fortunately there are other options for children such as Shonishin - a very gentle Japanese style of acupressure that utilizes beautifully crafted tools that pass smoothly over the skin and help the body energetically balance in a way similar to acupuncture needles, but without any insertion! I have taken multiple modules of advanced training in Shonishin treatment beyond my degree program and can say that this wonderful alternative to needling is both safe and effective for children (and adults!) My toddler can attest to enjoying it!
